Document Scanner does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
We collect no data. The app has no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no user accounts, and makes no network requests to our servers (we operate none).
Scanned documents and images are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting a document in the app, or uninstalling the app, permanently removes them.
The camera is used only while you are scanning a document, through Google's on-device document scanning service. Images are processed on your device.
Text extraction runs fully on-device using Google ML Kit. No image or text is sent to any server by this app.
The optional app lock uses your device's own screen lock (fingerprint, face, PIN). The app never sees or stores your credentials.
The app uses Google Play Services on-device APIs (document scanner, text recognition). These run locally. Google's use of Play Services is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
